About this apprenticeship

A series of placements to learn from incredibly talented mechanics and engineers. You will be performing servicing and maintenance tasks on aircraft or components, in a real job and on different aircraft fleets. You'll also be studying towards qualifications you need, to become one of our future Mechanics in one of our operational bases.

Working week

Based at Heathrow, however placements could also be at our other maintenance bases such as Gatwick and Cardiff, so will need ability to travel. Must be prepared to work a variety of shift patterns including night, early, late and 12 hour shifts.
