About this apprenticeship

Join our small, friendly country pub team as an Apprentice Commis Chef, mentored directly by an experienced Head Chef passionate about sharing his trade. You will learn basic food preparation, kitchen service, stock management, and food safety, with live-in accommodation and a direct bus route to central Reading available.

Working week

36 to 40 hours per week across 7 to 8 shifts of 4 hours, worked Tuesday evening to Sunday afternoon, including weekend shifts.
