About Nationwide

Nationwide is the UK’s largest building society, providing a full range of retail banking services including mortgages, current accounts, savings, and personal loans. Operating as a mutual, it is owned by its members rather than shareholders, allowing it to reinvest profits into service quality, pricing, and digital infrastructure. Nationwide has a strong presence both online and on the high street, and is recognised for its customer trust ratings and long-term focus on financial wellbeing. The organisation also plays a prominent role in promoting financial inclusion and responsible lending, maintaining its position as a leading alternative to traditional banks.
